Hello, my name is Karen Villiers. I am a photographer based in the Southern Highlands NSW. 

I would like to welcome you to my photography blog and thank you for taking the time to look through my work.

This blog is a place for me to keep a diary of my life as a mother of three beautiful boys who appear often in my photographs. It is a place to allow clients a sneak peek of photographs from their session, and also to advertise up and coming specials and events.
My passion for all things photography began when I was given my first camera at the age of nine; it was a pink Hanimax which still graces my home. As a young girl I would take my dolls out into the garden and take portraits of them. I have photo albums full of photos taken as a child; although they were not perfect shots they have created beautiful memories. I love to look back through old photos; each one reminds me of a time and place. They make me laugh and sometimes they may even make me cry… they are memories of happy times, memories of people that are no longer here on earth with me.
They bring back memories that I will treasure for a lifetime.
We never know where our lives are going to take us, BUT we sure know that it is going to happen quickly. That is why capturing these moments is so important to me; recording children’s growth, catching moments of play; expressions of personality. Creating moments to treasure and memories that will last a lifetime!
