Some Hipstamatic fun on my iPhone at Easter time. We had a lovely BBQ in my friends garden. The kids both young and old enjoyed and Easter Egg Hunt and had delicious chocolate covered faces. Inga’s garden is just beautiful lots of flowers and lovely paths to follow. It was so nice to catch up with friends and watch all the children play.

Neil’s ACOCP Session – Southern Highlands Photographer
by admin on Jan.29, 2010, under ACOCP, Babies
On Sunday I was lucky enough to meet Neil and his family for my first ACOCP session. Neil is a 2yr old boy diagnosed with a rare respiratory disease, he is currently permanently ventilated in order for him to breath.
What a pleasure it was to photograph Neil and his family. Neil was such a little doll and I was very flattered when his father commented that he has never seen Neil smile as much as he did when I talked to him. Thank You for allowing me to capture these images for you. I hope you enjoy this slide show as much as I enjoyed making it for you.

What an amazing inspiring family I had the pleasure of photographing on Wednesday. Their Poppy is currently bed ridden suffering from cancer and the family property has to be sold. Such a gorgeous local property and in a beautiful position. There is lots of treasured memories on the property and I was asked to do a session so they have photographs to remember the good times. Thank you Na for allowing me the priviledge of spending time with your three beautiful children under your favourite oak tree. I hope you enjoy your sneak peek.

Windy Weather – Southern Highlands Photographer
by admin on Sep.27, 2009, under Children, Personal
Oh what beautiful weather we have been having lately (note not a hint of sarcasm at all). I actually don’t mind the cold weather but I was not happy when the wind interferred with my session this afternoon. I was so looking foward to photographing three beautiful children on a property at Burrawang but because of the wind and cold and rain we had to postpone. I still need a photography fix so I took my beautiful boy and his favourite chair outside for a little session. He is so beautiful but not the easiest of models let me tell you. Sitting is not his best forte.. (0:

Pen License – Southern Highland Photographer
by admin on Aug.18, 2009, under Personal
How proud can a mother be when her 9yr old son comes home from school declaring that after all his hard work he has finally recieved his pen license? My son was beaming from ear to ear yesterday when he was awarded his license in class. His handwriting has improved in leaps and bounds over the past few months as he has been busting to get this license and yesterday his goal was finally achieved. We are so proud of you sweetheart. Congratulations. xo

Triple Header – Southern Highlands Photographer

Very soon I am going to be renouned as a photographer of trains. (o: I might need to add another section up the top, Babies/Children/Familes/Trains.. But I guess being a mother of three boys leaves me pretty much without hope that anything big and mechanical is not going to be a part of my life. Four against one leaves me outnumbered.. (o: But who really could resist the beauty and charm of such an amazing machine as the Steam Train! The noise, the steam, the engineering.
On the weekend we were lucky enough to photograph the Triple Header 3526, 3642, 3830 Special Tour from Sydney to Moss Vale , we meet up with it at Loftus and followed it down the coast and up the pass to Robertson then on to Moss Vale.

And just because yes in my family you can never have too much steam we went to Thirlmere on Sunday for a look around the museum and a ride on 2705.

Beauty Around Us – Southern Highlands Photographer
by admin on Jun.25, 2009, under Children
Sometimes in our day to day lives we forget to stop and see the beauty in our own backyards. I was at a conference in the city yesterday for photographers and one speaker reminded us to look around our yard. I am so blessed to live on acerage so this morning my son and I went for a walk in our backyard.. I really do forget sometimes that this gorgeous location to shoot is just within reach.
I have decided I am going to run a special for mini sessions in my backyard. Keep your eye out for this amazing opportunity coming soon.

by admin on May.29, 2009, under Family
The afternoon I meet this gorgeous family the temperature was 10 degrees, the wind chill factor was about 5. It was so cold and windy, my fingers felt like ice and the wind was shaking the camera out of my hand. But they were troopers and the results were amazing, I hope you like your sneak peek. It was such a pleasure to spend a cold Autumn afternoon with you. Thank you xo
